SPECIAL INFORMATION ON LEADER TRAINING
Information Last Updated: Dec 20, 2011

Did you know only 19% of our registered leaders are trained? And only 48% have taken Youth Protection Training? Did you know that you could take Youth Protection Training on-line, in your robe and fuzzy slippers?
Go to On-line Learning Center* and take YPT, it is painless and helps to protect you and your Scouts. The first time you go there make sure you have your membership card and put your membership number in so you get credited properly. If you take a course out of Council please send a copy of your trained card to Steve Fee and he will make sure your records are updated.

What do you need to be considered TRAINED?  See the
National Web site for details.

Here is a more detailed list of courses and links to more details and registration forms. You must register in advance to insure you have handouts at the training.

NOTE: Under new BSA Guidelines, Merit Badge Counselors must have Youth Protection Certification dated within the last two years.
