Cub Scout Pack 3894 is hosting the 2012 Fort Dearborn District Cub Scout Sports & Outdoor Skills (SOS) Day on Sunday February 12, 2012. Ideally we seek Boy Scouts, Venturing Scouts, Unit Leaders, Sportspeople & Outdoors people for many of the skilled areas. Station Help needed for Map & Compass, Knots & Ropes Station, Hiking, Introduction into Klondike Derby Team Building. This event occurs one week after Klondike Derby, so we hope to have you pull out your sleds and assist us with Instruction. We expect to have over 120 scouts, scattered across 3 facilities in period of 4 hours; so we will need many volunteers at skill level areas, registration, and various other help for setup and assistance. Camporees
The
date for the Spring 2012 Camporee is April 20-22,
Date change from April 27-29 and we have
the dates for the Fall 2012 Camporee. The Fall Camporee will be held at Camp
Betz near Berrien Springs, Michigan between October 19 and 21. Mark your unit's
calendar, and plan on attending. The theme for the Spring Camporee is Mad
Science. More to come on both.
